Lily Pad Leapers is owned and operated by Virginia Vaughn, a lifelong gymnast, dedicated coach, and proud USAG-certified trainer. With over two decades of experience in gymnastics, Virginia brings both expertise and heart to every class. Her love for the sport began at a young age and carried her through years of competitive gymnastics before she retired to embrace her greatest calling, becoming a devoted wife and mother.

While she stepped away from competition, Virginia never let go of her passion for gymnastics. Now, her dreams have come full circle, only this time, she gets to share them with her family by her side. Together, they’ve built Lily Pad Leapers into more than a gym, it’s a place where young athletes can grow, play, and discover their potential in a positive, uplifting environment.

Over the last couple years, Virginia has found an incredible sense of love and belonging within the Arizona community and her extended gymnastics family. Lily Pad Leapers would be nothing without the support, encouragement, and trust of the families who walk through its doors. That sense of connection fuels every class, every laugh, and every leap taken on the mats.

Gymnastics truly runs in the family. Virginia’s daughter, Takira Vaughn, was also a gymnast and is now a proud USAG member and coach. She brings her own energy, patience, and joy to each class, helping every child feel seen and celebrated. Behind the scenes, Virginia’s husband stands as her steadfast support and foundation, while her sons lend helping hands, from moving mats to cheering on students. Her older daughter, though out of state, remains an integral part of the team through her work in technology and design, keeping Lily Pad Leapers shining online and in spirit.

At the heart of it all, Virginia gives thanks to God, whose love and blessings guide every step of this journey. With Him, all things are possible, and through faith, family, and community, Lily Pad Leapers continues to grow into a place where dreams are nurtured, confidence soars, and everyone is reminded that great things happen when you leap with love.
